This course will introduce you to both the design and programming elements of Flash. All topics
covered will use Flash CS4 and ActionScript 3.
Who this course is for
This course is for anyone with no experience in Flash, and who would like to learn how to create
simple Flash animations with some interactivity. While there are no requirements for this course,
any experience with other digital design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D modeling, etc...) or
computer programming concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc...) will be beneficial.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the two days, each student will have completed many tutorials, resulting in a fully
functional Flash movie. Each tutorial will build upon the previous one,

Day 1 - Introduction to Drawing and Animation
